That’s a great question. What am I talking about? We all have backgrounds that affect our parenting. If you saw unconditional love in your family, it’s easy to demonstrate it. If not, you’ve got to learn it. OR, maybe you came from a fun-loving family. Maybe you didn’t and having that attractive home for your kids’ friends isn’t easy. The good news is that Jesus wants to heal us. Through the Holy Spirit He gives us power over our wounds. But we need to make sure we ask Him to do it and be open to His leading in the process. It’s going to take time and maybe help from others. Rest assured Jesus can help us overcome hurts that, by ourselves, is impossible.
