A friend told me he had gotten a call from the principal at his daughter’s middle school who was puzzled. Why? The principal said my friend’s daughter was identified as being bullied AND being a bully. How is that possible? I’ll explain in a second, but y’all know that bullying is still happening in schools today, right? Kids who are different are teased, mocked, physically assaulted, and sometimes stalked and shamed on social media platforms. In this girl’s situation a few students TRIED to bully her, but she pushed back – appearing to be a bully. So upset about it, she started standing up for other kids who were bullied. Wow. Bullies in your family? Point them to I John 2:9 – how can you be a follower of Christ and hate people?
